Billion Regrets

I have fallen down a million times,
That's what knees are for.
Taken a thousand shortcuts,
I'll take a million more.
I've broken many hearts,
Just by crooning in a mic.
I've been praised, awarded, worshiped,
Then told to take a hike.
Been around the world a dozen times,
No not yet but some day soon.
I've been a saint, a star, a 'rockefeller',
Romantic poet and buffoon.
I have done a lot of stuff in life,
Perhaps I'm not done yet.
But lying on my dying bed,
I'm sure I'll have regrets.

  1. Now that's the most awesome lyrics to a song ever.

    Ever.

That's how I feel right now.

  3. I loved this, and poetry doesn't have to rhyme! These would make good song lyrics.
