At Last, Captain of My Own Fate

It's the weekend and I have so much to do! When I decided to go to school I did so, initially, because I was too lazy to go out and look for a job. Boy, how the tables have turned. I think I would rather be pulling a 9 to 5 than spending 90% of my life writing research papers and literary responses. Wait, no I wouldn't. What am I saying!
Let's see. I study for 5 hours for my World Regional Geography mid term. I thought I bombed the thing. Turns out I got a solid B while the average in the class was C-. I have aced 2 out of 3 tests in Logic class despite the fact that I have been absent from that class at least a dozen times.
School is easy. It's just too tempting to blow it off. For the last 12 years of my life I have been in an institution called the Navy where, if you failed to do what was expected of you, you got punished for it. In college, no one makes you do anything. If you don't go to class, no one cares. In fact, I took Wednesday off this last week giving me Tuesday through Thursday with nothing to do but sit at home and watch movies and read novels. No one cared!
Of course, now I'm behind in my school work and I am going to have to spend the rest of the weekend catching up. So, I guess I care. I guess.
